The targeted renovation and adaptation of the customer area at the headquarters of Hypothekarbank Lenzburg responds to evolving clients needs while maintaining uninterrupted daily operations throughout the construction phase. The project focused on enhancing the overall quality of stay, improving orientation and wayfinding, and strengthening advisory services on the ground floor. The development process evolved iteratively in close collaboration with the bank’s management team.
At the outset of the project, several key questions guided the design process:
- How can the customer area evolve while daily banking operations continue uninterrupted?
- How can orientation become clearer and more intuitive for clients?
- How can additional consultation spaces be integrated discreetly into the existing layout?
- How can the existing interior fit-out be reused and upgraded sustainably?
