Not a single stone has been left unturned at Raiffeisenbank Steinhausen …

Ground floor: expansion of the bank area; first floor: conversion of the office space into four flats

back to objects overview

Many changes have taken place at the Raiffeisenbank Cham-Steinhausen branch in Steinhausen: Enlargement of the banking area on the ground floor, relocation of the entrance, conversion of the former office spaces into four flats on the first floor. Furthermore, we renovated the façade and brought the building services up to date. The pleasant quality of space and the newly created sense of community are highly valued by its users.

With the total renovation and expansion of Raiffeisenbank in Steinhausen, the bank had the opportunity to expand the ground floor area and convert the office and consulting rooms on the first floor into flats. The redesign of the ground floor into three different areas creates a completely new sense of community and offers customers a warm welcome. The compact layout meets all requirements while retaining a spacious feeling.

A defining element is the coffee area that connects the space and provides a setting for brief consultations over a cup of coffee. The adjoining room is used for informal consultations and simultaneously enables customer events to be hosted.

The team office is visually yet discreetly connected to the customer zone and the choice of materials is characterised by quality and aesthetics.

About the design: In line with the location of Steinhausen, we chose the natural stone Verde Spluga from the Splügen region, which — thanks to its green tinge — harmonises with the oak and blends in perfectly with the colour scheme. Great importance is attached to functionality and ergonomics.

Overall, the result is a refined image that customers and employees alike appreciate. When asked if they would make any changes to the design once the project was finished, René Sidler, a member of the management team, replied with a categorical no — they still enjoy the result and wouldn’t do anything differently.

Our task
We have actively supported the Raiffeisenbank in Steinhausen from the strategic planning to the finished project and would like to thank the bank management for the opportunity and the Board of Directors for the trust they have placed in us.

We wish the team in Steinhausen all the best and hope that the newly designed premises will enhance the banking experience for customers and the team alike.
