Half a century has passed since Ernst Gehri founded our family business – a long time, in which we have evolved from being a small business to becoming a specialist in innovative spatial solutions with our own-brand product lines. Along the way we encountered a variety of experiences and faced diverse challenges that forced us on more than one occasion to grow beyond ourselves. We were — and still are — prepared to take decisions, to strike out in new directions and thus to be always one step ahead of our time. Today, we have some 45 highly qualified and highly motivated employees who together share one unique goal: not just to fulfil your requirements and wishes, but to exceed them!

Our commitment to the environment
One of our key concerns is the respectful use of resources. We attach great importance to sustainable production, and our production is Co2-neutral, as we draw 100% of our electricity from Swiss hydro-electric power stations. We use our own waste timber to produce heat, and our modern heating system with electrostatic filters is state-of-the-art. We use a small but highly effective solar system to heat our water. We are committed to a sustainable and future-oriented energy policy.
Our commitment to our employees
- We train apprentices, employ interns and give young project managers and designers the chance to develop with us
- We support our employees in their commitment to clubs and associations – such as Cédric Freiburghaus, for example, probably the fastest joiner in the world (Phoenix Racing)
- We promote active exchange between departments …
… with our Thursday lunches: our design and specialist planning teams exchange information over a fine lunch that fosters conviviality
… with shared activities, e.g. at Easter and Christmas
… with a “Tour de Suisse”: all employees spend a day visiting projects in the immediate vicinity and further afield in order to see the results of their work in person
Our commitment to culture
We support the 150-strong team at the “Kulturfabrik KUFA Lyss” cultural events organisation in Lyss, and thus many active, committed young people as they put together a fantastic cultural programme: concerts by Swiss and international musicians and bands, parties with DJs of all genres, sound spectaculars, comedy bars, pub quizzes and flea markets – in short anything that the heart, eyes or ears could desire.
