How is it possible to integrate a new reception into an existing architecture? How does the guidance needs to be designed in order to offer patients and visitors optimum service? How can a new appearance and ambience be integrated into an existing colour and material concept?
Answering these questions was the focus of this challenging project. The great challenge was to reconcile diverse needs and requirements for the new reception area. With the presentation of different variants — from gentle renovation to comprehensive redesign — we managed to get all parties on board. In the end, the chosen redesign is convincing: a combination between “modern, fresh and tidy”, optimal work processes, easy handling and a pleasant working atmosphere.
