Vagabund brings street food, regional identity and sustainability to Biel station — offering travellers and locals more than just a quick bite: personality, variety, freshly roasted coffee and soul. The urban, sustainable interior concept was developed together with founders Sandro and Laura Bianchin.
Fast. Bold. Local. Interior architecture for honest street food – Restaurant Vagabund at Biel station
Fast. Bold. Local. Your street food spot in Biel to eat, drink and chill
Approach
We accompanied Vagabund from the first idea to realisation:
-
Interior architecture & design
-
Feasibility study and layouts
-
Building application and design consulting
-
Interior architecture and lighting design
-
Construction management and joinery works
The design is urban, raw and vibrant — shaped by recycled materials, deliberately without heavy refinement. This created a place with character, making the idea of circular economy tangible in spatial form.
A place for everyone
Vagabund is more than a restaurant: it is a space to pause, enjoy and discover. A piece of Biel’s soul in the middle of the station — created with clear ideas, a modest budget and plenty of passion.
