The Banque Cantonale Neuchâteloise has given its branch in Cernier a radical facelift, and given it a new name too. The Centre de conseils du Val-de-Ruz (Advice Centre Val-de-Ruz) reflects the changing patterns of behaviour of its private customers and provides the best possible support for business clients and their projects.
“When they come to us, customers should experience something different – not the bland sobriety banks are known for, but a place of interaction and conviviality”, explains Olivier Joly, head of the Advice Centre Val-de-Ruz.
The customer is at the heart of things
As an expression of this philosophy, BCN worked with the planning team at Gehri to develop a design guide that would define infrastructure standards, the look and feel of it, as well as the organisation of the branch. This gave rise to a new approach that puts the spotlight on hospitality, support and interpersonal contact. “Customers should feel comfortable and at ease in order to get the most benefit from the consulting expertise of our staff”, says Cédric Beaubiat, in charge of the private customer division.
