The Cantonal Bank of Jura has chosen the centre development near the railway station in Delémont as location for its new branch. The bank is located on the ground floor, the back office with its common rooms for a total of 30 employees are on the first floor.
Organisation & Layout
The goal was to develop an attractive interior concept that would meet the needs of the bank. Given the generous room height and the façade concept, we were looking for a solution that makes the built-in volumes appear as solitary elements. The integration of a 24-hour safe system and the daylighting we created by opening the stair core provide natural lighting of all consulting rooms. The upper floor houses the working area for credit and asset management as well as the multifunctional and common rooms, which are accessed through a walk-in core zone. This ensures discretion and at the same time promotes the team spirit and cooperation.
Brand staging
The brand staging is our contribution to the Cantonal Bank of Jura in Delémont. On the one hand, we communicate with the butterflies derived from the logo, on the other hand with the material used — brushed steel as a reference to the Jura as a location for the watch industry — which reflects the light and show off the space. Every hour, the butterflies shine in red, the colour of the canton and the Cantonal Bank of Jura. Thus, they become a poetic, meaningful element, a link between function and emotion.
